Declaration of Angola delivered this Thursday, May 27th, in Geneva, by Her Excellency Ambassador Margarida Izata, during the 30th special session of the Human Rights Council, convened to assess the serious human rights situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories , including East Jerusalem.
Intervention by Her Excellency, Ambassador Margarida Izata, Permanent Representative of Angola to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, delivered this morning on Thursday, May 20, during the Workshop on the theme “The Mobilization of Women for Greater Participation in Regional and International Mechanisms ”.
The event, which takes place in the auditorium of the Diplomatic Academy “Venâncio de Moura”, in Luanda, in a virtual way, is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mirex) and the Ministry of Social Action, Family and Promotion of Women (Masfamu) , and is debating topics such as “The Path of Angolan Women in OI's” and “Gender in International Organizations”.

Moment of Angola's participation in the cycle of conferences dedicated to the response of the colonized peoples to the Portuguese empire, held this Monday in the main auditorium of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Geneva.
The event will run until next May 3 and will cover themes related to Angolan and Mozambican cultures, with particular emphasis on art, power and words in Angola and Mozambique and a work by Angolan writer José Luandino Vieira.
His Excellency, Permanent Representative of Angola to Geneva, Ambassador Margarida Izata, is, among other authorities, invited to the cycle of conferences, which also includes diplomats, university students and the general public.
