Angola is on the international tourism routes. Angola is a country whose natural beauty, throughout its territorial extension of 1,246,700 square kilometers, enchants any visitor. Angola's natural wonders include its rivers, waterfalls, Namib Desert considered the oldest in the world, at least 55 million years old, located along the Atlantic Ocean, southern Angola, and the 1,650 K₂ coastal coastline, among other charms. 43% of Angolan territory is covered by forests that are still little explored.
Trees of valuable species are found in the northern forests, unexplored since independence.
Nearly 150,000 hectares of eucalyptus, cypress and pine plantations await rehabilitation.
The vast and dense hydrographic network further facilitates the natural development of this sector, since flotation or transport by boat is possible.

15 km from Lubango, capital of the province of Huíla, a tourist condominium is very popular with people who want to spend a few days or a weekend in total contact with nature, but with a complete accommodation infrastructure the comfort of modern city life. This is the N. S. de Monte complex, located in the Sierra de Chela, 2,000 meters above sea level.

Also known as Muhonguera Lodge, the place consists of ten small houses, some with one bedroom, others with two, all with private bathroom, hot water, television with satellite dish, double or single beds. For a dinner, a drink or a cashew juice, typical of the region, you can go to a restaurant with a maximum capacity of 50 people and a bar. Another service offered is a convenience store that sells Angolan handicrafts, African fabrics, medicinal plants and other products.

If all the houses are occupied, the visitor can camp. There is a camping area with enough space for 10 stalls, as well as parking. A modern security system guarantees tranquility and the corner offers guests a bucolic and exotic atmosphere, made up of countless birds, goats, chickens and other animals.

Muhonguera is also an ideal place to stay for tourists wishing to discover the region, considered one of the most beautiful in the country. You can rent a car there and drive along the winding Leba road, 15 km of closed bends, the Huíla waterfall, the Tundavala slot with its gigantic superimposed rocks, the Tchivinguiro caves, the Chimbolelo farm.

The tour can end at the top of Chela mountain, where the town of Humpata is full of attractions such as the historic Boer cemetery, the Neves dam, the belvedere and the zootechnical station.
